Hey all, long time reader nearly first time poster
I just wanted to know what experienced priests have to say about healbot or grid?
I can't decide which is better in terms of healing.
And sorry for my bad english ;D
Thanks,
Elune
I love Grid. It is amazing. That is all.

Grid is just like air. Can't live without it.
You know what is better than drinking a beer? Brewing your own beer. And then drinking it. And then... Drinking another beer. And then, punching somebody in the snout! That's what!
ur starting a flame war xD and u'll get alot of diferent opinions from your fellow priests around hereOriginally Posted by Elune
anyway, grid is grid, nothing compares the best addon ever created
I haven't used either extensively but I know people who use Grid or Healbot, some prefer grid others healbot, so its mostly preference choose the one your comfortable with.

Grid does a pretty neat magic trick. Turns wow into whack a mole. I like it when i'm healing.
So does Healbot. The thing with these two mods are relatively the same: They help increase healing productivity. Healbot is a probably just as customizable as Grid, I believe it takes less memory (but I don't remember correctly), and they both do the Exact same thing. The main difference I have seen with Healbot and Grid is the Debuffs. You don't need to get more mods in order to show all the debuffs in healbot. The only suggestion I have to you is to try out both, and stick with the one that you like the most.Originally Posted by Sleeves
Forget the whole Healbot vs. Grid debate and just use VuhDo.
I use nameplates to heal, the when the lil bar over someones head gets low, I use my heals on them.
Is this a troll or do you really do this? o.OOriginally Posted by Mr_BoMyJangles
Nameplates have something like 15-25 yards range. Healing range is 40 yards. Go figure.
And of course nameplates don't show anything besides health (buffs, debuffs, etc.)

I use Healbot and have no problems with debuffs, so not sure what they are talking about. Healbot doesn't seem to show the debuffs in my group, so I just check my default UI party screen.
Grid's ok. Easy to use, lot of options.

Grid + Clique
I really hate to sound dick (I lied, I love it) but you dont need addons to heal instances at lvl 30, people use grid to heal raids, where space on your screen becomes alot more of an issue. If you want to use grid at that level you can, but its not really needed
i just love grid for the organization, even when im on another character raiding i keep it open just to see whose alive who has threat whose getting healed all that fun stuff.
i just use grid, its simple enough on its own and has lots of built in customizable features that you can play around with, anything that you would get on top of it would be pure preference (such as clique).
