Ignus Bug?

Not saying that my guild is phenomenal but we do clear Hodir/Thorim/Freya,

but the past couple times we've done Ignus I've noticed when he slagpots a melee, he turns, parry's the melee then instagibs the tank with 3 20k hits.

Anyone else noticing this?

its really very frustrating.... having one of the add tanks charge over and tank him till we get a brez on the normal MT then rebuff and continue as normal. Happened 2-3 times tongiht and twice last week.

Haven't had any trouble with him since the initial first week slag-pot gib. Course, removing a third of his health helped.

Are you saying this is a parry-related insta-gib, from facing the melee for a fraction of a second, or something else?

parry related gib. and yes i realized i spelled it wrong but i was typing this up in between trash pulls.

I'm pretty sure it can't be an actual parry related gib, due to the fact that parries should only affect the time remaining on the current swing. So basically, one swing, turn to slag pot, parry a few times, turn back with a hasted swing. next swing would be on normal timer +/- parries form the tank.

Ignis does not parry haste.

He has been reported to have extra attacks related to slag pots. Just heal through it, he's weak.

yeah we killed him anyway, just a pain in the ass when that double swing happens.
