Resto Sham/Prot Pally

Hi all, my friend and I have decided to make a toon each to lvl together with. He is going to roll a Prot Pally and I was going to roll a Holy Pally but I cant get into Blood Elves that much. So I am thinking about rolling an ugly troll shammy to heal. In the end we will do battlegrounds (not arena).

I am trying to get some sort of feed back from peeps that have done something like this b4. Is this a good combo or not? In my head it seems fun.

do what sounds fun. if I were in your shoes I'd probably not go shaman, druids are better right now in every aspect of pvp.

I can spam heal for an entire BG and not come close to the numbers a druid puts out. They have better cc, better mana, better travel form.

Druids can tank, melee, caster, or heal
shaman can melee, caster, or heal.

they are my two favorite classes to play and I have one of each.

You can't really go wrong with either but druids are more powerful and imo just as much fun.
