Trust me, while stam is nice, the str. version is awesome. I did a little bit of theorycrafting on it when i got mine;

It was 4:46AM when i wrote the blog, so some stuff might be a bit off, but basically, it's very awesome. I don't usually use it on progress bosses, but on farm bosses and in PvP, i've almost always got it equipped. The proc rate on it is VERY consistent and as soon as the ICD is over, and i heal, or cause damage, it procs. It can proc from SoV ticks, Consecration, and even Retribution aura (as far as i know).

It's part-BiS because it gives you both AP and BV, but it's only BiS for those that don't use 2 stamina trinkets. My armory currently shows me having 2 stam trinkets due to Mimiron/Ulduar attempts. Outside of that, i'll have the JC Crab + Greatness Strength equipped.

The real beauty lies in that if i want to, i can use the card in my holy set, and still get the +300 intel proc.

Think it would still be worth using if you had the intellect version and wanted to use it on in a prot set?

It's not like I am tanking 25 man hard modes or anything.

I don't see the problem.

The trinket proc would give ~4% crit and ~7% dodge.

Not a lot, to be honest.

That's undiminished dodge, even.

Other tanks would gain 300 strength, which equals..

Warrior: 636 attack power, ~207 block value.
Paladin: 690 attack power, ~224 block value.
Blood DK: 649 attack power, 81 parry rating -> ~1.65% parry.
Frost DK: 600 attack power, 75 parry rating -> ~1.51% parry.
Unholy DK: 618 attack power, 77.25 parry rating -> ~1.57% parry.

Undiminished parry, ofcourse.
If such a trinket would exist, we would still gain a huge bonus from it, and imo.. That's a lot better then what druids gain.
If I need avoidance, I can still fall back on my JC trinket..
