leveling as restro shammy in solo play?

so will soloing what do i do? spam LB?


and will healing i seem to oom kinda fast anything i should know about healing 5 mans as shammy?



and no im not going to level with any other spec for know.

Why would you even want to level as resto? It's supposed to be an endgame spec and definitely not for leveling.

Soloing as Resto isn't bad. It's just slower than Ele, take their advice, level Ele and you can heal any instance fine.

And if I were you I'd at least take a few points in ele to improve damage and mana consumption. You can heal 5-mans pretty well in full elemental spec so it shouldn't hurt you too much.

But if you insist on going full resto, you should probably cast LB, then cast frost shock while the first LB makes its way to the target. The slowing effect of frost shock will probably allow you to cast one more LB before the mob reaches you.

And bring lots of water...

This. You can always dual spec Resto for 5mans if you want to.

yea..... go elemental, it wont hurt your 5mans as long as you got water with.
I healed all my way as shadowpriest, and i could if we got the levels for it go dps and just shield occasionally

Don't be stupid, I went from 76-80 (using Questhelper) in one day as Enhance and I'm sure Elem does the same. Get to 80 then go Resto.

Having leveled as resto from 70-80 to gain healing experience I would only recommend resto if you plan to level mostly in instances. If you want to do more solo play then I would do as others have suggested and level elemental and just heal as elemental when you do run instances. However, if you do decide to level as resto I found the best was to kill mobs decently quickly was to round up 3-5, put down a magma totem, and heal yourself while throwing out chain lightning every now and then. Each group takes a while to kill this way but since you are killing groups it's still faster than spamming lightning bolt on a single target. Not sure how well this works at lower levels but it worked well when I was going from 70-80.
