We did it with 5 man in in Marz 2008 with a mix of SSC and Hyjal/BT Gear.

With the HP-nerf and the new talenttrees it should be easily doable with Green-WotL-Gear at 70.

Me and a resto shammy friend of mine 2 manned attumen, maiden with me at level 74 (feral druid) Also 3manned moroes with the same setup + priest.

Entirely doable at your current state imo.

Around level 72 I had replaced most of my kara epics on my hunter. Around 77 I started replacing BT/SWP gear on my feral. If you can clear Gundrak you can clear Kara.

I can tell someone didn't try to make an effort in replacing their old epics, but instead waited for someone to carry them around in raids.

There are a lot of blue 80 items available that are better than sunwell items.

I say just try it, some fights might prove to be difficult, but it should be fun, especially if you haven't done it before. Karazhan is, to this day, my favorite instance in the game, there's just so much diversity and so many cool bosses. I'm excited to hear about 80s two-manning it, I have solo'ed some bosses but it just took too long for me to kill them (Holy Paladin) that it wasn't a lot of fun. I may be able to convince a Rogue buddy to do it, with me healtanking and him providing great DPS.

Unless you're full green, you can 5men it by lvl 70.

3manned it after 3.0, with an average of SSC level gear. It's easy, period.

SWP gear is not replaced by leveling/80 blues, except for a maybe a few random pieces, and for specs like tanking. Hell, naxx 10 doesn't really offer much for upgrades. For caster dps, muru robes or sunfire robes aren't upgradable until 25 mans.

Solo'able at 80. Opera event i found most challenging to solo tho. Could prolly 5man it quite easily at lvl 70 with greens tho

Me and 2 of my friends always 3 man kara for the gold and well worth it if you dont die and loot everything :P not to mention we have a de'er who makes mongooses :P
