if Shadowfrost spec worked, blood can work, all for the fact that you can spam Heart Strike 4-6 times or more since it works the same way as Shadowfrost, both use 1 RUNE.

To throw in a fresh idea: Have you ever noted that 6 x HS does not equate 6 x IT since HT is mitigated by armor? So it is way less bursty than IT spam (pre-3.1) used to be even if you also use DRW (which has its equivalent in the Gargoyle anyway). And that's not taking into account that IT is ranged whereas HS is not and that glyphed IT provides much more RP than HS.

So your conclusion that "if Shadowfrost spec worked, blood can work" is a bit oversimplistic. sorry
