Leash of Headless Magic still BiS for Holy?

Im thinking of trying to craft the Cord of the White Dawn but i already have the Leash from Maly25. Ive heard different thoughts about which is BiS. What would u guys choose for Holy? Cord of the White Dawn is best in slot. Not only because the stats are higher but there are 3 sockets compared to 0.

the cord is a little better but in ulduar there isnt a whole lot of haste gear for us, its tough to stay around the 400 mark without any of the hardmode loot, so many consider it to be BiS with the rest of our gear being crit heavy

If you want Crit, make the Cord.

If you want Haste, stick with the Leash.

I'll probably have both on hand when I can buy 6 more orbs.

um whut? have you looked at our tier gear? chest and head have crit, shoulders and gloves have haste. there are plenty of gear choices that you can do to make up for haste you lose. cord of the white dawn > all atm

It's debatable BiS, definitely not "by far".

They're both good and somewhat equal. As said before:

Haste - Stick with the Leash
Crit - Go for the Cord

The algalon 25m waist is BiS i believe, better stats, more power, has crit and 2 sockets (3 sockets). You can get a nice veriaty of crit and haste from almost every part, i haven't seen a belt with haste on that has stats close to the algalon one. Maybe it hasn't been discovered yet.

Indeed. Though the new loot from Algalon 25M (Starwatcher's Binding) seems to be better than the crafted. Still worth getting this one made if you prefer the crit tho IMO.
