Some 2v2 help!

Hi,

I'm running 24/0/47 Resto and Ret paladin 2v2 comp. We do extremely well against double burst, and most healer/dps teams. However we are having problems against Warlocks/Unholy DK's and Disc Priests. I usually shift to avoid mana burns, but doing so gives their dps time to burn me down while im using valuable GCD's on shifting. Fears and Silences are our main problem.

I'd like some advice if at all possible,

sounds like you need to position yourself better so you dont have to shift, only LoS.
