    And you should gain an AOE DoT application from every Divine Storm with Vengeance. Vengeance stacks last 15 seconds, Divine Storm only has a 10 sec CD. By the time the first mob dies in most multitarget trash fights, you should have several stacks on pretty much everything near by, and by the time the second one dies, you should probably have a full 5 stacks on the rest.

    Yes this is true. But I highly doubt that the DoT you apply will (when the mob dies) create more burst damage on said trash mobs than what we get out of SoB hitting those mobs.

    In any case, on trash packs (think: Naxx) we'll stick to using SoC.
    For other trash (think: Ulduar) we'll be using SoV.

    For AoE, unless you have a 2+ min AoE fight so you can apply and maintain the 5 stacks of vengeance on the mobs, this seal will be far weaker than SoB/SoM.

    The whole magic of the SoV buff is that it's going to be good against single target bosses. It's going to be much worse than SotM/SoB against quick AoE trash, so SoC would be better for it, offering it's damage up front. Now, like it's been said, any AoE trash pack that lasts longer than 50 seconds (The amount of time to gain 5 stacks with DS against 4 mobs), then you would get the benefit from SoV, but you still would only be maximizing it's effect every 10 seconds with DS. It's basically a nerf to our AoE damage which we were good at for a melee class anyway.

    From what i understand seal of comand is better for PvE when your ret.
    When people say "pls" just because its shorter then "please", I feel totally justified to say "No" just because its shorter then "Yes".

    SoCasino has been on the bench for Ret for a loooonnnnggggg time. It's basically an RNG game and pretty much useless. Saying SoC is the PvE seal of choice is like saying that Judging Justice in raid is awesome for Ret too.

    soc isnt a randomprocc with 3.2 anymore. its a 100% procc like seal of blood/martyr is now. so dont talk crap not related to the thread handsylton 8>

    Yeah, I know how it works for 3.2. It also, as of right now (which is what I understood of his statement, which would be dealing with right now) is completely worthless, because the recoil from SoB isn't enough to make it anything to worry about, as well as it giving much more consistent damage than SoC. Command will be the new PvP seal in 3.2 because of the higher burst damage it offers over SoV. Don't jump down my throat because I'm answering the guy's question.

    I don't know, I think that the DOT from SoV on a bunch of adds from DS, which ticks every 3 seconds, so 3 ticks per DS, and stacking so it does more with each DS, will probably outweigh the extra up front 3% damage from SoC.
