PvE DPS Calculation

Hi,

I generally only PvP while on my rogue but lately been trying out Combat PvE and I'm really loving it.

Just a few of questions:

1. How do you calculate your dps? I hear ppl saying, "I can dish out 3.5k dps", etc. How does it work? What is the formula to gauge your dps?

2. This is my Combat PvE spec. I'm a mace user as you can see from my spec. Please comment.

The Addon is called Recount.


And for your spec... really wrong... there is stickies for combat go take a look there.

Recount is what your looking for.

There is a Topic called Combat Compendium it will give you all the information you need 8)

Since you are maces you just switch the Weapon Specializations on those specs to your weapon spec (mace)

To me it sounds like he is looking for a method of estimating what dps he can do. Recount will tell you the dps your did, a spreadsheet will give you an estimate on what your top end dps could be.
