    OK, so wait.. rather than make the gems unique (4) and give them 10 stats more than epic gems, and make it exactly and perfectly balanced vs other professions that get 40 stats total bonus, they actually kept them unique 3, and give each gem 14 stats more = 3x14 = 42 stats?

    Yeah, that makes perfect sense. not.

    That makes sense, however it would make more sense to have a uniquie (2) gem with +20 or (1) +40. Gems are a lot more annoying than say a LW bracers enchant. Its hell if you want to use multiple gear sets. The only pieces we can really depend on having sockets are belt from BS socket and usually helm because w/o meta helms are terrible.

    I would rather they give us necklace "enchants" that use a dragon's eye and add the 40 item points.

    Either works.
    2 is easier for multiple gear sets.
    4 is more versatile, and equally strong, but less socket dependent.
