A Single Token to rule them all... Sorry lost track of what I was gonna say...

A single token... hmm well I guess one could say that an entire raid of 10 could be geared in a relatively short period of time and never get more than 1/2 through the instance.

I dunno... I like for my specific point of view...

- Very low pop server
- Horde out number us 2 or 3 to 1 maybe more @ lvl 80
- Most serious Alliance raiders have long since server xfered

Those of us poor slobs left have to play the hand that was dealt and it usually means guilds with 10 to 15 'good' non-hardcore players (not raiders but players) and we are relegated to 10 man content at the most and often we don't even raid at all cause 2 or 3 people pulled a no show.

Yea I need to xfer but try convincing my wife of that when she has people she'd really miss... I knew getting her into wow would be good in that she wouldn't be harping at me to get off the game but now it's come back to bite right on the old gluteus maximus...

So.. back to tokens.. yea for a guy in my spot.. where we at the most do 3 wings of nax over the weekend... I'm sure gonna be happy that I can still get myself geared seeing as we've never (the guild anyway) gotten to the last two encounters... I was pugging for a while and I did get in on all the fights and in one sitting no less... too bad I was just standing in for another guild that was 1 man short.

For serious players... I could see them being put off by this... when all the while they knew that had to get to boss X to get the legs or head or whatever to drop... also when it comes to who gets what gear...

Yea for the very laid back environment I'm in.. this is nice and simple... we do a standard 'who will benefit the most' from a drop and usually give it to that person. mage X has tier gear x4 and mage Y only has teir gear x2 well mage Y gets it.

In a more 'aggressive' environment I can see all kinds of problems with this.... and for guilds who use DKPs ... heck... the guy with a ton of DKPs could get 4 or even 5 tokens in his first run. Given the dumb luck that the same 'class token' dropped each time or almost each time. Not sure how that would go over... but then again those kinds of issues were always present...
