    Question 11...

    Question 11: The fear/blind DR has severely destroyed a lot of synergy shadowpriest and rogues shared, are you planning to revert this change next season?

    No. The game needs more DR on crowd control, not less. Using your crowd control at the right time is awesome. Chaining different forms of CC together to keep an enemy from ever being able to move is a lot less fun.

    But he likes druid/rogue - sap/cyclone x 3/blind/sap/bash/cyclone x 3.... -

    THE GAME NEEDS MORE DR ON CROWD CONTROL!!!!

    GC quit the job!

    What are you going on about? You quite obviously agree with the old Ghostcrawler in this matter - the game needs more DR on CC.

    Dimnishing Returns on Crowd Control
    -> The more often your are stunned/feared/incapacitated/etc. the less effective it is.
    DR currently is: 1. CC -> 12s, 2. CC -> 6s, 3. CC -> 3s, 4. CC -> immune
    The DR resets 15s after the CC is gone.

    Some CC share DRs, others don't.
    e.g.
    Fear + Blind are on the same DR
    Gouge + Repentance are on the same DR
    Hammer of Justice + Cheap Shot + Bash + ... (all stuns except Kidney Shot) are on the same DR

    I find this statement from GC very odd, DR is a poor design and only exists to resolve power issues. Basically they have given classes OP abilities and then balance them by applying different game mechanics in PvE to PvP. Inconsistency is an extremely poor design and instead of creating more quick fixes shouldn't the long term effort be into creating a solution that fixes the structual problem?

    In this particular case, priest/rogue was a popular combination and was obviously very high in representation. So the DR mechanic gets applied to priest/rogue but because druid/rogue wasn't as prevelant the exact type of chain CC isn't affected by DR. You have immediately created an inbalance by applying a balance mechanic to only one segment of classes.

    Anyways, they aren't goign to overhaul CC which is what they should do... fact is WoW is trying to be 2 seperate games in 1 and it simply doesnt work.
