Editing some information about the looks that I stupidly forgot to state here.
Signature:Venarius. Im on EU on the server Sylvanas, I play as a human male mage =)
Visible text: I would like only the name to be shown, more clean imo.
Armory link/Facial screenshot: Not allowed to link
Gear set: I would like the t12 gear in normal mode to be equipped.
Helm visible: No thanks.
Your pose: Go on your own inspiration on this one, but if you are uncertain of which one, just make me casting an arcane blast or something =)
General colour scheme: Uhm, suppose a mix between all the mage colours, so like red, blue, purple. I have bad fantasy, im sure it'll be great.
Any extras: Don't know if this is like possible. But if you imagine the picture infront of you right now: Venarius, casting a Arcane blast. And in the background, there's a kneeling venarius aswell. An idea I got which I think might be quite cool Don't know if it's possible though.

Wallpaper: I don't know if you do both, but I'm going to fill this out even though you won't take it. Feel free to do this one aswell though, but go for the signature if you are choosing.
Resolution: 1440x900 please
Visible text: Just the name, somewhere where it fit's in.

FRAPs works well. Make sure you set it up to accept voice input from your mic if you're gonna talk through it though.

Hi all! Decided that I want to get a new wallpaper with my toon. So here goes:

Resolution: 1900x1200 also if it's not too much to ask, a small 960 x 640 version for my iphone
Visible text: Just my toon name: Erethor (somewhere small and conspicuous yet still visible)

Gear set: Basically exactly what I have on including guild tabard, except with T12 shoulders + Uncrushable Belt of Fury from FL which I'm missing.

Your pose: Preferably just a out of combat standing pose, Sulfuras being visible is a huge bonus. Would like the toon to be portrayed as fairly large on the wallpaper.
General colour scheme: Dark, grunge brushing, light amid the darkness themed sort of thing.
Any extras: Looking for a simplistic yet not overly plain kind of wallpaper.

I've heard good things about Fraps but I've never used it myself. But, a Vid tut would be awesome! I learn better when I can see exactly what the author is doing. The vids on another site I've seen just go, "ok, this person took this layout and added light to it." But, they never show HOW the author did it. Just a little pet peeve of mine. :3

As Safhira and Kalysun have said, Fraps is great for free software. I've used it before. It's pretty clear, and easy to use. Only downside is that you'll have "www.fraps.com" at the top of the video.

I think I used Hypercam for my video tutorials but I can't be 100% sure (was so long ago) but Fraps is really good aswell but I can't remember if I got it to work for Photoshop.

First of all, let me start of by saying this thread is absolutely amazing. The fact that you people put your time, effort and skill into producing signatures for other people you haven't met is really commendable!

Also, I have a picture in my mind concerning how I would like the signature to look which I will try to convey to anyone considering giving this a go! If you feel this is too constrictive, or completely unrealistic, please feel free to adjust what you feel necessary! I don't want to remove your own personal touch on the signature by overwhelming you with how I want it to look.

What I'm imagining is a pretty close-up, standard signature, view of my characters face while also showing the shoulders. What I want to be the real focal point of the signature is the eyes and their intensity. I would love to have some 'smoke' rising from the eyes, preferrably in the same colour motif as the rest of the signature, perhaps a bit brighter for contrast. This is to convey that the character is completely through-and-through corrupted and vile, and as such some of this is 'escaping' through the eyes. A growling/snarling mouth is also quite vital to pull this off (at least that's how I envision it). I can imagine this signature working both with a full-frontal-view of the character, but I can also see it totally working if you try to capture the moment where my character just looks over the shoulder, telling you to back off with his eyes, and staring you down

General colour scheme: I'd love a color theme that looks rotten and disgusting, suitable for the affliction playstyle. I'm thinking a dark dripping purple sort of thing. Any number of green colours could also totally work. I realize this could be quite stereotypical of the warlock class so if you feel like you have a color scheme that could work, go ahead and use that!

Hopefully this gives you some idea of what I'm looking for but feel free to take some artistic liberties

Also, I'm not sure if I need to say this, but leave my good-for-nothing pet out of the signature :P
