Most people here use free image hosting sites which you can google (because I don't know anything beyond Photobucket anymore - and I don't even use that).

Okay. There's a way to get MoP models in your WMV.

But it's extremely time consuming (took me 4 hours), and you're limited to creature models (elementals, dragons, sha, fish/monkey men, etc.). Pandaren do not work, or any of the gear models.

This is just an information sort of post. Be sure that your MoP Beta is fully patched before you do any of this. You can find links to the client in that linked thread, further up the page.

I use imgur. It usually takes around 18kb off the size of my sig so I can upload them without 'em getting too blurry

I finally made the switch to Alliance this expansion and so my signature is now rather outdated. I was wondering if one of the amazing artists here might be able to make me something to keep up with my Stormwind lifestyle!

Request: Signature + Avatar (I've never requested a wallpaper because I always assume that takes up a lot more time. I'd love to see one but not a formal request.)

Dimensions: 500x100 or around there seems to work for me. If I had to choose, I'd prefer the length to increase over the height if the change was necessary.
Visible Text: Just the letter "X" (without the quotations.) It's been my go to name since the game came out. I want it to stand out without dominating the signature.

Gear Set: Iconic Tier Sets-- Tier 2 or Tier 5 for Priest, Tier 6 for Warrior (Protection), Tier 2 or Tier 6 for Rogues, etc.

Pose: Artists Preference-- I trust you more than me with what looks good!
Color Scheme: Dark. If a highlight color is preferred some kind of neon blue.
Note: I'm an avid leveler. Since Vanilla I've leveled and played one of every single class. I was hoping this might be conveyed in the image as it is in my current signature through the use of multiple characters. It really is, what I believe, defines me as a player. If I had to handpick only five classes, in order of priority it would be: Female Night Elf Warrior, Male Worgen Rogue, Male Gnome Mage, Female Night Elf Death Knight, Female Human Paladin

Also, please do not include any names like guild or server.

Some kind of "X" that matches the look of the signature. I really trust the artists as they understand far more what looks great than I ever will. All of the artists are truly appreciated here.

I'm not sure if this is allowed here but I wonder if the .psd file might be included. If not, zero complaints!

I got asked how to make shadows and light effects in signatures. Now the person that asked is using GIMP and I have basically no knowledge of that program. So I accepted the challenge and tried to create a tutorial for how to go about it in GIMP:

(you know a tutorial is 'short' when it got two parts)

Sorry for the poor quality of Part 1, but due to its size, imgur decided to lower the quality by quite a lot - I might correct that sooner or later. I hope these two can help people a bit. If you have questions about any of the steps in the tutorial, you are more than welcome to contact me.
