PM Request! I think I might use this one when I make my tutorial .

And just wondering, how do you get the screenshots of your Photoshop settings? Y'know, kinda like in Elyaan's tutorial?
EDIT: Or what Eruion just posted

    This.

Incidentally, I had a weird bug a while back where the print screen function was acting wacky and not wanting to work while I had photoshop as my active program (and it was an on and off problem; worked sometimes, not others), so I downloaded a quick program called Picpick that does a nice job with screenshots. You can use that too.

also save for web always, no matter what makes the quality decrease a lot. is there a way to help this?
    thanks

Quite the opposite, in fact. The difference isn't noticeable, but the regular save as JPG when using anything less than top quality is WORSE than the save for web, as the web save optimizes it for being smaller rather than lowering the quality.

    Example:
(Each image is highest quality while being under 50kb)

The top is saved normally, and the bottom is the web save. You see very little difference here, and if you blow them up (700% works nicely) and switch back and forth in photoshop, you'll find that the top one has some added JPG artifacts and some color noise added, where the bottom one doesn't.

Oh okay thanks. So, do you know why whether I save for web then upload directly, save normally then upload directly, or save it thru Imageshack (save for web file or regular save) the quality always lacks after I upload it to MMOC even tho it looks great saved or on Imageshack?

    so... confusing... o.o haha

Yeah, not sure. I never use imageshack, I just save it for web using photoshop, then upload to tinypic.com, and the quality is always perfect.

Also, regarding a new thread, I feel that making it at the start of next year might be too delayed. I'll knuckle down tomorrow, and I'll see if it can be done tomorrow, ready for Cataclysm.

I'll give you updates when I can.

P.S. Drael, can I possibly request that you send me all of those tutorial's links via PM?
    Awesome! Thanks hon.

It's not your version of WMV that determines whether you have T11 and such, it's your WoW files.

After you hit "Print Screen," go to File > New

Make sure the preset is set to Clipboard (it should default to this, but check anyway), then ctrl+v past the screenshot in. Once it's there, you can crop it to whatever part of the image you want.
