    Real Life Warglaives Casts

So being the artist I decided some time after having a pair of Glaives in game  that I wanted to make a set   SO  here are my final results  after a few months working on them off and on.

I have plenty more photos  if you all want to see  but here is a couple

So let me know what you think    Keep in mind  I did not follow the blizzard design 100% but they are close enough
They are Fiberglass resin cast and each weight about 8lbs

ADDED pics    here is the casting process  figured people would love to see it

Pink foam positives were then cast in Silicon and then the halfs of each blade were poured and then assembled

    Blade Halfs

    Raw resin cast half

    Whole  raw primed Glaive

    Finished

    Gitn    lvl  80 Rogue   Arthas

    Re: Real Life Warglaives Casts

I added the cast process for those who viewed the post first so please go back and check it out but ya I had the idea to maybe make all the Legendary Weapons from the game and maybe make a set of gear. Again I built this in my spare time but might lend some more time to construct the others.

Those look pretty awesome! But they lack glow Would it be possible to cut those blades in half, then carve just enough room for a few super-bright leds in them, assemble the leds and wires in there, glue them back in, and have controls and battery for them in the handset?

Oh, anyway, looks neat and I'm pretty jealous :P

Yes i thought about that only after I put the Primer on them the fiberglass cures Clear so it is possible to make a set with LEDs in the blades and a battery pack in the handles.. I still have all the molds so all i have to do is recast them and follow suit. If i make another set they will Totally light up

Nice! I'd recommend seeing if there's a way to add a slot for dry ice - the steam effect would really complete the look imo.
