    New Holy Talents! (I wish)

    Hammer of Grace
    Blesses the target with light's grace, increasing your chance to dodge
    all attacks and spells by 20% for 12 seconds. Each successful dodge
    reduces the effectiveness of HoG by 2%.
    [Holy, 12% Base Mana, Requires Lv80, Instant, 2min CD]

    AND a talent that supplements HoG:

    Empowered Flash of Light (5-point Holy talent)
    Increases the instant heal and heal over time effects of FoL by
    3/6/9/12/15%. In addition, your FoL has a 3/6/9/12/15% chance
    to refresh the duration and effectiveness of HoG.

    Note: I'm not even Holy!

    **RAISES FLAME SHIELD**
    Most classes spend their entire /played time wondering if they made a difference.
    Paladins don't have that problem.

    So..

    Think about this:

    Raid:
    Before the battle starts, your 2 paladins with *Empowered flash of light* charges the tank to 100% dodge with your Hammer of Grace (weird name for a buff btw, Hand of Grace would be alot more suitable) and basically spams FoL all the battle long.

    See what the problem is here?

    Oh! Oh!

    PVP:
    As soon as you enter your 2v2 match, the paladin basically spams Hammer of Grace on the other target and will happily eat some CC because the party member simply wont die with a nearly constant 100% dodge.

    Or am i reading it wrong and does *your FoL has a 3/6/9/12/15% chance
    to refresh the duration and effectiveness of HoG* mean it will be reset to 20% dodge (which is still hugely overpowered)

    Not flaming here, simply saying you should think your suggestion through a little more. I like the idea of a Hand of Grace as a sort of Pain Suppression. But you already have Hand of Sacrifice to take some steam of the tank/target.

    Never knew that you could dodge spells...

    With that said, if you are a melee, you could try the simple rule of attacking from behind. Or, if you're an op rogue stealth+stun=profit.

    Yeah, I think what he meant when he said refresh the duration and increase effectiveness means setting it back to the original 20% since it diminishes by 2% every time you dodge.

    OP and pointless suggestion that will never see the light, imo.

    Its not like holy is doing bad in pvp atm.

    Hammer of grace is a defensive CD? its not like pallys lack them. bubble anyone ?
    Also the FOL increasing duration + effectiveness means you would keep spamming FOL to just keep it up, which with those numbers should be possible unless RNG is against you.

    Holy paladins (as in 40+/x/x spec) is the least viable paladin PVP spec atm. It's basically a free kill for anyone.

    Pallies do lack defenseive CDs in PVE (as tanks) which is the reason for the new AD in the upcoming 3.2 patch.
