25 Yogg (Glitch or No)

I was DPSing Yogg-Saron for the first time today (Normally Heal) and was assigned to Brain DPS in P2.

Well, during 2 of the 3 brain phases I took place in, I was teleported out of the brain and killed instantly.

Basically I would go in, assist DPS on the adds that spawn while avoiding the skulls to prevent sanity loss.

Both times I would die I was above 75 Sanity.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong or is this just a glitch?

You have to get out of the brain before he makes you go insane.

I know that, after clearing adds and DPSing the brain I'll head to the portal about 5 seconds before he casts the perma MC.

What I'm saying is it would frequently teleport me out of the brain with like 20 seconds left on the cast and instantly kill me. A lot like if you aren't in the room at the time of the encounter

No. Let me explain a little better.

I enter the portal. Within 5 seconds it teleports to the middle of the main room (Prison of Yogg-Saron) and instantly kills me. No chance nothing, I'm doing what I'm told and I'm the only one that has this happen.

maybe you should take a look to the dmg you take when dying in the room.

the skulls do damage. you receive a % of damage you deal as recoil. watch your health.

I've had something similar occur.

Took portal instantly ported out, took another same thing. Once insanity ended, eventhough I was up top dpsing the tentacles, I went insane and had to be killed.

I carefully watch my HP as I am a Shaman and our Healer in brain isn't the most reliable. SO I try to keep myself topped off.

I just don't know what is doing it. One second 18k HP in Brain, Next teleported out of the brain and dead.

The burst in there from the adds isn't that intense

Sometimes when you go into the portal, a constrictor will pull you out and kill you/damage you. If this happens you get bugged and will go insane if you dont die, and if you die you cannot be rezzed.

It's NOT that, as I could Ankh. (And I did)

I never went insane, I never dropped below 60% HP. I just got thrown out and killed immediately. One shotted.

No combat log text reading damage that took me to or below 0 HP nothing stating Overkill, just a death.

So from what I read this fight can be pretty damn buggy.


I just hope they fix some of this. (Just not the difficulty or w/e)

The only thing I can think of is that you had a curse of doom one you and you were low enough to die from it, and possibly your combat log didn't show the damage for whatever reason. Other than that, /shrug
