Just looking at the best spec for feral single target and i made this

dont know if genesis gives rip/rake gives more dmg but it seems to say it does in the tooltip

Genesis is useless for ferals

Spec 1 is best on single target, spec 2 has 30% better swipe but less damage done on ferocious bite.

which is just 3% less damage on an ability we use rarely anyways for survivability through SI. Living through spiky raid damage > 5 more dps.

My shreds hit harder than the FBs any day and I can do it more often.

Well, Im not super duper geared or anything, Misc Uld10 items and Naxx 25 items but my shreds crit for 8k or so while my FB's crit for 12k or so.

So really its avoid FB until you can be sure you can get to either 5 CPs to refresh Rip or 2-3 CPs to refresh SR, which pretty much means TF has to be up after THAT to have enough energy and time to get the other one refreshed, which is like the planets aligning. I usually only use FB at the end of a berserk when I have a lot of time on Rip/SR.

FB will only hit harder if you have extra energy to dump into it, a 25 energy FB will hit for about the same as a shred.

imp mangle is a necessity, even if you roll with an arms warrior or druid tank. You never know where they're going to be at a given time so make sure you spec to take care of your own dps. This is the same logic behind bears taking infected wounds and imp leader of the pack.

nice lgic indeed and i do agree whit it but the truth is my arms warrior is verry active raid attendence is like 95% and he know how to stay allive and such in reality i hardly ever use mangle apart from auriaya but i wont top the dmg on that fight anyway ^^

Please get rid of Genesis and Protector of the pack, lol. And mangle/ imp LOTP are needed for raiding imo..
