Favorite Druid Tier Set

I loved how druids complained that t6 and t5 were shit in TBC, but now they like them.

Anyway, I have to say t5.

I've never gotten t5 back then , because I didn't raid and just leveled up my druid from an alt to main in beginning of tbc, but I had the PvP version of it, and I still keep it in my bank, and think it looked great.

I'm surprised t5 isn't in the lead, i love it to me it's a great balance between the different druid specs

also the spell effect of flower blossoms on the shoulders/helm was too cool

I still like the T6 set the most. Had that nice aboriginal feeling to it and being from west coast canada it was a perfect fit.

T5 is not only my favorite druid set, but my favorite set period. I don't think the hat is particularly special, but the textures on the set are really great and really... druid. The shoulders even have little wooden crescent moons hanging down in front!

I was never a big fan of the T6 shoulders... I looked like I was walking around with some thick cardboard mockery you'd see in bad cosplay on my shoulders.

Have to remember.. I think of Dreamwalker from back when only a handful had it and it was actually special. I remember using Fang of Korialstrasz, the minty colored robe from Fankriss, Dreamwalker shoulders and the pink cloak from c'thun.. I looked like an idiot but at least it was unique

Dungeon Set 2 is my personal favorite.

I may be completely alone, but I'm pretty fond of our D3 set. It had all the style of T3 but none of the heavy-handed animations that mar an otherwise great collection. It was understated and fit. I only wish there was a weapon that matched it in style.

On the topic of racial exceptions, T6 was awesome on a Tauren, but almost too... Totem-pole. I liked that they went for the Tauren Druid's supersuit as a point of departure, but it was brazenly Tauren. I wish there was a raid instance where we could see "Tauren" sets for Warrior, Shaman and Hunter that had the same racial tone. Nordrassil was great for Night Elves. It was elegant and showed some skin.

However, I think they're ALL kinda stupid. Why was Tauren pride found in the Black Temple? Or Darnassian finery in an underwater cavern and floating citadel?

I'm in T8 right now, and I think it's absurd. BEAUTIFULLY absurd. Vines and split bark and spinning moons and sparkles. I've described Ulduar as Gnomeregan meets Mount Olympus from Disney's Hercules. I'm like the God of Nocturnal Vegetation. It's not very DRUID, but a druid in [Gnomeregan meets Mount Olympus from Disney's Hercules] would be exactly that. And that's exactly what I wish more teir sets did. Each class has an sense of distinction, and each raid has an aesthetic. How do they mesh to create something amazing?

The items were not found in an underwater cavern, armor pieces of fallen warriors were found, which when recovered for the faction you chose in shatt, THEY gave you the gear.
