i would love to see the ashbringer usable, but only while in icecrown to destroy arthas, like the legendarys from the kael fight. i would be sad to see players wielding this, standing in dalaran, while waiting for there raid time. as much fun as it would be to wield ashbringer, as a sucker for lore, i hope it never happens.

The ashbringer is going to be one handed, non unique, with varying speeds based on what hand you have it equipped in. That was it is 2.8 speed main hand and 1.4 speed offhand. Perfect for rogues, since we need new legendaries, mah glaives are cold!

well the Ashbringer sword was supposedly created by the Archmage Timolain for the Scarlet Crusade, along with other weapons. The sword is also connected to the infamous fisherman Nat Pagle, and the prince of the Shen'Dralar, Prince Tortheldrin.

"Arch-[mage]" totally a Mage weapon.

Ashbringer was forged by King Magni according to the comic, and comic is actually more recent so i'd assume blizz is gonna use that in 3.3, also if Ashbringer or a form of Ashbringer is equipable i think it'd be best if they made the crystal drop after Tirion and Arthas kill each other as the swords shatter each other and in the memory of Tirion(as the first one was forged in memory of Muradin), Magni forges a new ashbringer(epic version) with the crystal.
