    Own instance: Castle Gilneas

First sorry for my bad english but I´m actually from germany and this is only a translation of my original post:
    http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread....72977533&sid=3

Ok first of all I´m going to describe the 10man instance.

In my opinion we never fought the real Arugal. The Arugal we killed in Shadowfang Keep and which got resurrected by the Lich King was only a puppet. A puppet which Arugal controlled from his true wherabout. Gilneas. The Lord over the Worgs of Azeroth has took over the land behind the Greymane Wall. Gilneas should be a zone with many daily quests, like the isle of Quel Danas. And on the end of the country in the centre of the destroyed capital of Gilneas lies Castle Gilneas. The Raid instance where players will face Arugal and his Worgen minions. I also made a 5man instance but I didnt´translated it yet. But the entrance of both instances are close together and they both belong to the same instance complex.

    Introduction:

Years he has been waiting. Years he has been planning. Now the time has come to show the world the power of the true Arugal. They thought they had killed him. FOOLS!!! Those appearances were nothing more than useless marionettes. Now they shall feel his all-embracing wrath. Slowly he walked through the once glorious halls of castle Gilneas. It had been easy to convince Grenn Greymane. Soon he accepted that the worgen were the only way to vanquish the horde. Of course this was only a trick. The Worgen will vanquish the horde, but they will also destroy the alliance. After he had found Ur and neutralized him, he only had to get rid of Greymane, which was easy. There was only one problem left. The last survivors of Gilneas have recovered under the leadership of Grenns granddaughter Grena. But he knows that this problem also wouldn´t last for long. Now that he had it. His ultimate Weapon. This and the new pact with the black dragonflight will make sure that nobody can stand against his fury.

Something stirs in the south of silverpine forest. Worgen attack the villages of the Alliance and the horde. The Greymane wall has broke open. A new war is breaking lose and brave heroes, which have faced the dangers of northrend, are needed to face the threat of Arugal. The Alliance and the Horde have built to new villages to face the army of worgen. But the factions cannot forget their hatred and interfere eachothers attempts to set their feet on Gilneas.

But there is still hope. In the ruins of the capital city a new faction is rising. Under the leadership of Grena Greymane, the true heiress of the throne, the flame of Gilneas welcomes Horde and Alliance in their battle against the nightmares of Castle Gilneas. Because only together they will be able to face Arugal and his minions, which hide inside the castle of Gilneas.

First Boss and Thrash: The first boss is only a gearcheck so don´t be disappointed if he doesn´t have an awsome tactic^^

When you enter the instance, you find yourself at the big courtyard of the castle. On the left side lies the corpse of Neltharu (3rd Boss of my 5man instance) and there is a big army of people from Gilneas. If you talk to Grena Greymane she will start the event and the attack on castle Gilneas will begin.

Grena: "Warriors, Brothers! Tonight we will fight for our homes, for our families. We will show Arugal and his beasts that Gilneas is still strong. That Gilneas, the people of Gilneas have still thier own will. We forgot our old hatreds and forged new friendships. With the alliance and the horde we will claim back our country. This is our land and we will show Arugal that it was a huge mistake to set his foot behind the Greymane Wall. FOR GILNEAS!

Now Arugal shows up and laughs at the player. He sends tons of non elite worgs against the army. Now the Worgs and the Warriors of Gilneas fight for one minute. You can see Humans and Worgs falling under the attacks of eachother, only to move on to the next enmy to battle. There are some catapults which will fire at the castle walls. After one minute of fighting, the players can hear a big bang. Now Fenros breaks down a wall on the side and runs on the battle field. Fenros is a huge Worg(similar in size to Malygos). Grena now calls the army back and Fenros kills the half of the npc on the battlefield and then retires. After Fenros has disappeared Grena will talk to the party. She will tell you to go through the hole in the Wall into the stables of Fenros, while her warriors will try to break into the castle through the wastewater pipes.

When you walk through the hole you´re in a big stable. There some boxes on the sides and the hall is lightened by burning corpses. The hole is guarded by a Worgendestroyer and a Worgenelite. On each side of the stables a Stablemaster of Fenros patrollers and there are 3 groups containing one Worgendestroyer, two stable boys of Fenros and two nighthowlers.

The gate which leads to the next room is guarded by one Worgendestroyer and one Worgenelite. In the next room there is only one group containing one Worgenelite, one Woregendestroyer and one Stablemaster of Fenros. Throught the floor which is only a grid you can see some Warriors of the flame of Gilneas in the wastewater pipes fighting against Worgs. They will kill the worgs and move on the get deeper in the castle but will shout to you to also go on. After another long corridor the party enters the room of the first Boss, Fenros.

    Re: Own instance: Castle Gilneas

After Fenros is slain a door opens in the back of the camber. After 1 Minute two Worgenelite come through the door. After the mobs are dead, the party can enter the living areas of the castle. You now enter a big stairwell. Under your stair you can see some Worgs and Warriors of the flame of Gilneas fighting. Now you can see Arugal walking in killing the Warriors and resurrecting them as Worgen. Arugal points at you and shouts that if you surrender he will grant you eternal live as his Worgen Minions. After that he walks away. You can also see some other members of the flame of Gilneas in the stairwell, walking up other stairs. After you walked up the long staircase you enter a very long corridor. The floor is made of carpet and it really looks like a inhabited castle. In the front part of the corridor patrollers an Elite of Arugal. Also the door at the end of the corridor is guarded by another Elite of Arugal. At each side of the corridor there are 2 rooms. Each room is filled by a 5man grouß containing a random set of the following mobs: Worgenelite, Aristocrat from Gilneas, Lord from Gilneas and Guardian of Arugal.

After your party leaves the dining hall you enter the big entrance hall of the castle. Re: Own instance: Castle Gilneas

After Grenn is dead, Grena takes his axe and smashes the throne. Under the throne a hidden staircase leads deep into the caverns under the castle. In the underground corrider two Guardians of the black dragonflight await the group. After these two are dead the group reaches a bridge. Under this bridge Arugal talks with two Nighlords of the black dragonflight.

Nightlord: „ The master gets impatient Arugal. When can you show us the result of your work?”

Arugal: „ He will see my weapon soon enough. Trust me, me and my master are very interested in working with the black dragonflight. “

Nightlord: „Well thats good to hear and say your master, that if he tries to betray us there is no place in the world where he can hide.”

Arugal: „You underdestimate my masters power but thats not important. I see we have company.”

Arugal now teleportts himself to the group and stuns the players with the Scythe of Elune. He proceeds to kill the group but is interrupted by a Worgen which tells him that the master and his escort have arrived. Arugla leaves but the group has to fight the two Nightlords instead.
After these two are defeated the path continues through the underground cave. There are five Groups, containing one Nightlord of the black dragonflight, one Nightassassin of the black dragonflight and one Worgenmaster. After the cave you reach a destroyed hall. On the right side you can see Arugalt kneeling before four riders which surround a portal. In the hall stand another four trashgroups like in the cave and two Elitewarriors of the black dragonflight are patrolling through the room. After the group has crossed the hall you come out on the big courtyard where you were at the beginning. Also you can hear the end of the talk.

Strange Voice: „Give the scythe to my minions, Arugal. She´s an important part of the ritual."

Arugal: „Of course master. The Weapon is ready and I´m only waiting for your command to start the main attack.”

Strange Voice: „ Well done Arugal. Your service will be rewarded but first you should get rid of these unwelcome guests.”

The four riders leave and Arugal begins to resurrect the corpse of the third Boss of the 5man instance.
The Boss now flies up in the air and begins to attack the warriors and catapults of the flame of gilneas on the other side of the courtyard. The People retreat in the stables to avoid his attacks. Grena shows up and tells the players that she once again needs thier help.

    Re: Own instance: Castle Gilneas

Afer Arugal is slain Grena congrulates the group. But as she wants to leave, the party hears a frightening howl from deep under the castle. Behind Arugals desk opens now a secret door, and a „Perfect Wereworg” comes through it. The mob has the model of a normal human, wearing torn clothes. After you have slain the mob the hidden door leads you deep down into the dungeons under the castle. On the path to the deepest level of the castle, the party has to fight 5 other „Perfect Wereworgs”. On the last floor the group comes to a big gate. Now a shadowy figure shows up and speaks to the players.

Strange Voice: „I see that Arugal has failed. Unsurprisingly.”
Strange Voice: „But despite Arugals failure, you don´t stand a chance. Soon the ritual will be completed.
Strange Voice: „After all this is the perfect situation to test Arugals ultimate weapon against a group of real heroes.”

After the speech the gate opens and the party enters a huge room, were the last fight of the instance takes place.

And for every Son that is still alive he heals himself for 10% of his total health and he also increases his Attackspeed by 25%.

    Re: Own instance: Castle Gilneas

I really like the idea - the atmosphere of the city overrun by worgen must be awesome.
And when it comes to english, all you generally need to do is replace, for example "all 4 sec" with "every 4 sec" - besides it's pretty much okay.
Natural Selection: Each time you say "Worgens" as a plural form of the word "Worgen", you have a 2/4/6% chance to be eaten by a grammar nazi.

Btw where do you get the time to write that kind of stuff down!

    Re: Own instance: Castle Gilneas

It looks really appealing I admit. Although sadly Gilneas will be released as a whole zone rather the an instance. It will be a new flight/sea hub to the Maelstrom expansion. But of course that doesn't mean it can't have it's own instance. So yes, I really love it. Please continue.

Well i always wanted Gilneas to be a own zone. Which many daily quests where you puss back the worgen. Castle Gilneas and the Outer Defence Wall (my 5man instance) are only the instances in the destroyed capital of Gilneas which is completly overrung by worgen.

    Re: Own instance: Castle Gilneas

When i read about gilneas it sounded more like an expansion much more epic that just an instance. They have been isolated and holed up there for a very long time and they have to be planning SOMETHING.

(Sry if this was mentioned didn't have time to read the replies. The instance looks great though)

I love sfk and i would love this instance even if it would have difficulty of sfk.

All that worgen and undead staff, all that aristocratic in par with old passed times. Madness where you can see that place had to be pretty cool someday.

But i dont know, arugal was lvl 26 and his followers only 20s..are you sure about that hp?
