Incanter absorbtion for Hordir

I was trying to increase my damage on Hordir and I was wandering if any of you ever tried a build like that or calculate what it would do.

FrostBolt would be the main and only nuke. cast time 1.9 sec reg. base sp 2419 unbuffed

Actual dps on Hordir between 9k and 12k depending on how well position are the buff running with a regular ttw/fb spec.

Incanter absorbtion (1000-1100 depending on Hp when buffed) and Mind Mastery (150-200) would give me about 4200 sp almost permanently, IV for any time I am not in a light.

Go arcane if you want to abuse Incanter's Absorbtion.

1. Magic Absorption has nothing to do with IA. IA is based around shields, MA is based around resists. A resist to frost =/= to an absorb, thus the points are wasted, as with the point in Imp CS. Put those three into Arc Meditation, since FFB gains no bonus from Spell Impact.
2. Arctic Reach doesn't apply to your nuke. Put the points in Imp FW for more mana during combat and more uptime on IA.
3. Shatter is worthless because you don't have FoF, which is too far down the tree. Remove it and put the points somewhere else in Arcane. Any talents below that are also pretty useless. I could see an argument for Winter's Chill, but it's still not that much of a help if FB is your main nuke.

The build is pretty bad. You'd have to significantly gimp yourself and pick up nothing but crit pieces in order to even attain a level close to a geared Arcane or FFB mage. Innovative and different, but you'd be better off with a more conventional build.
