I've done very little theory crafting for my Rogue and generally fail at the class... It is because of this that I have a question to ask of those more skilled with Combat rogues.
I'm about to make the jump from Assassination to Combat under the pretense that it is slightly easier and scales nicely with gear. My gear isn't great, but it's getting there. (t7 and t8 (10man))
But I have been told that having a dagger in my off-hand would benefit me more? Is that because Close Quarters Combat grants extra crit due to the 2 different types of weapon?
Or should I just stick with the 2 fists seeing as Kinetic Ripper is faster than both of my daggers and has more dps?
Any constructive feedback would be much obliged. Thanks.
CQC grants a MH-weapon 5% crit if it's a Fist or a Dagger.
CQC grants an OH-weapon 5% crit if it's a Fist or a Dagger.
if one of your weapons is not a Fist/Dagger, then that weapon's attacks will not have the CQC-bonus.
Fist/Fist, Fist/Dagger, Dagger/Dagger or Dagger/Fist won't make any difference at all when it comes to weapon specs.
That aside, whoever told you that stuff about 10% Crit through Fist/Dagger needs to be brought here and then be hung by his balls.
