Rogue PVE spec question

Hi, i'm starting to get into PVE'ing on my rogue and am not sure which is the best to go, Mutilate or Combat?
I like combat because you don't need to give it time to start doing dps, and it's good for quick fights like in heroics and trash. where as Mutilate takes time to build up to start doing dps, but might be better on boss fights.

Anyone know which would be best?

Also, my duel spec is my mutilate pvp spec, so i can't have both of the specs
