Getting harrassed in BGs.

Every BG I have done today, I am getting flooded with /y /w consisting of "Ret pallies got nerfed to the ground, enjoy your gimp class" "Ret pallies suck, not more facerolling for you" and other variations of the same thing even though I am typically number 1 overall. Is this happening to anybody else or am I just in an exceptionally immature Battlegroup?

I say let them talk their shit, then when they get pwned by us they can cry more later. Ret pallies took a burst dmg nerf, not a dmg nerf... From what I've done in PVP most other classes are still pretty gimp in a group setting. And like before Pallies have their limits in 1v1 too, they actually have the ability to pump more dmg with the 4 sec CD on CS over the 6 Sec CD.

Good way to get people riled up is just saying " HEY <Insert name>! NICE GREENS", usually takes the edge off of people buggin' people about class changes.

They pretty well told me ret was fine.

Not really, ret is pretty OP.

burst is certainly less upfront. The buildup is nice, using vengeance on a class who can't dispel magic is very strong.

Most people hate ret pallies because the *typical* ret pally player cared for nothing except 1v1 at mid. Capping? What's that?

You lost your FotM status and became more balanced. The people who are razzing you are aiming for the crowd that already rerolled warlocks (polluting MY class now, damnit).

Actually I lost my FOTM status when I tell people I've been playing ret since 2.2, progressed in BT and Sunwell as ret, and I've never healed.
