►[A]<vodka>| Heroic ICC: 12/12 | Recruiting for Cataclysm
It has been several weeks of hard work but we finally managed to take down 25m heroic Lich King. The fight is obviously challenging and big props to the guilds that were able to down him before us, especially before the 15% buff. While we are proud of all that we have accomplished throughout WOTLK and ICC we definitely feel like we have more potential and fell short of it but we still want to continue to improve our guild, our raids and our world rank and hope to do so in the upcoming expansion.
What that means is vodka is now launching phase 1 of our Cataclysm preparation by opening up recruitment for all classes. To be clear, we are not mass or zerg recruiting. Yes we want to build up our roster for the upcoming expansion but we want to do so with a certain kind of player that is the right fit for our guild. We are still very happy with our current raid core and leadership which plan to be here throughout the upcoming expansion. We have had a very low turn over rate so if you can’t be dedicated long term don’t bother applying. This is a great opportunity to establish yourself as a player and core member of our guild before the next expansion.
If you are a talented player who loves the game then vodka might be the place for you. We are looking for new members that are not only skilled but active community oriented people. Don’t bother applying if you aren’t a competitive and driven player/person who is always striving to be better. We look for players who are more then just the best, you need to bring a certain attitude and resolve to everything you take part in.
What can you expect from vodka during your trial and as we prepare for the expansion? Not only will you have an opportunity to complete all current raid content in an efficient manner but the chance to make some great friends and develop as a player. While the raid week will be short we plan to be very active during this down time. Not only will we be doing split/alt raids but we will be taking part in battle of the best. In addition to the usual dailies, bgs arenas, alts, achievements we also plan to take part in beta as a guild when available. We don’t recruit for the bench, we aren’t interested in raid loggers and if you can’t mesh with our guild you won’t last no matter how good you are.
