I avoided most of the lag by playing during off peak hours. Prime time games lagged so much that it was almost always 20-30 min matches.

I'm close on my druid! I got most of the achievements right off the bat, but none of the groups are interested in [Mine] unfortunately, and I still need quite a bit of wins.
