Your Favorite Ulduar Encounter?

I'm gonna annoy people by saying it, but flame leviathan 4 towers wins for me because it actually has a very nice implementation of vehicle use and co-ordination.

Second place I'm gonna say vezax because it really was a suprisingly well tuned encounter that challenged healers in a very different way to the 99% of other fights where damage is just bigger or on more people at once to tax healers.

I agree with this too. FL-X(substitute X with whatever is challenging but not impossible for you, I pick 4) is fun. I enjoy vehicle fights and personally cannot understand why some people outright dispise them and/or fail horribly at any kind of vehicle combat.

I love XT Hardmode, but it's too easy to be a good fight.
I like Hodir Hardmode because it's so much about movement.
I hope Mimiron hardmode will be a bit epic, it's the only hardmode kill we don't have in 10man yet, we will engage him on Saturday.

definitely yogg. we still haven't downed him and I don't have any experience with hardmodes... but yogg already is my fav encounter. so much to do wrong here. really filters out the good players from the very good players.

Mimiron hardmode, lots of things going on, pure fun fighting it.

Algalon for the looks/voice. That guy has some charisma.

Mimiron hard mode, hands down. Very well designed encounter.
Hodir. Fun fight as trying to reach highest achievable dps (14800 at the moment, but was a ridiculously shit kill with no storms but 100% campfires. Could be much higher if I have ignored adds aswell)

Hate yogg, with any keepers. Fuck P1 and fuck P2, boring and long fight. Altough P3 is fun as a lock, especially with SoC blowing up on 15-20-25 adds, haha.

Yogg. Such a well designed raid in general. The "decent into madness," the theme and story behind the fight, having to kill of your own if they eff up, inside the brain and outside the brain, 3 different kinds of tentacles, killer green beams, dps race in p3, having to fight one of the great titans who was strong enough to control four keepers, just everything about it was epic and fun.

Based off creativity and design I'd say it's a tie between Algalon and Yogg. For difficulty I'd say 3 elder Freya or zero keeper. Based simply on fun I'd have to say Algalon though.

Yogg 1 light is the most fun, going into p3 with 2 sanity and knowing you can NOT go insane or you let all 24 of your friends down. its just so epic. yogg 0 light is not fun. its just insanely demanding from EVERYONE. algalon is the most boring fight ever for dps.

I'm a big fan of pre nerf ignis, i always went oom (innervate used) at about 3 mil hp left, and from there was a tough struggle
post nerf was once described as similar to beating up a cripple

freya is also one of my favorites, just cuz a lot happens in the fight and a lot can go wrong as well

I enjoy IC "I choose you Steelbreaker."

The fact that it is spikey in damage at the beginning and kind of a "slow and steady wins the race" fight, then shifts gears to a "Kill this Motherf&@ker now" fight at the end makes it very fun.

I also enjoy Mimiron due to the changes of pace in it as well.
