Changing PVP realms so you can have a Horde and Alliance Character ?

Does anything think that changing a PVP realm from one faction to being able to have both ruins a lot of raids that each faction plans on raiding main cities?
Yes I'm aware people could have a toon on one faction and have a friend on the other faction and being able to snitch out the raid groups by just messaging them on a messenger, just being in the same room, txt or whatever. (Sadly this does happen, shame on you rats! Tisk tisk!)

From my experience, people on PVP servers are more than happy to just gank people on contested areas... no one really wants to raid cities. In PVE servers it's the only way to get some serious world pvp going.
