New 80 rogue pvp help

Hey currently i am leveling my rogue for the sole purpose of pvping, and i am curious about a few things.

1. What spec would be best to go for pvp? I assume mut dagger spec but i may be wrong.
2. What gear should i try to get besides a full pvp set from honor?
3. Do i need pve gear to be effective in pvp? Would the +dps stats be enough on pvp gear alone to be able to burn down a class?
4. With kidney shot when i use it i often see it can miss, get dodge etc. What hit rating is needed so this doesnt happen @ 80.

Any other tips would be helpful

Most ppl is using Mutilate/prep spec, Some is playing a FoK spec. But beause of the inomming nerf of it. It's not a good choice any more.
Beside the Furious set, I'm using Crafted belts and boots. Death warmed belt & Footpads of silence. Throwing weapon From Naxxramas together with Trinkets.
The hit cap for PvP is 5% (162 or 164 hitrating)

I've tried it out with 2-3parts of Furious, and rest PvE Gear. Tier 8 Conquerer. And ofc it's a higher dps and burst dmg. And can win by it.
Also, Less resillence, and less hp.

Its all up to u imo!

Thanks for that, but in regards to weapons should i get the pvp ones? And is there any certain weps i should try and get?

for pvp weapons you will need high arena rating, so you need some others till you get there(correct me if i m wrong)
atm i m using two kaluak daggers, adn gona take the one from HoS hc as soon as possible(dinged 80 yesterday)
oh and if you are Leatherworker by any chance, eviscerators battlegear is good pvp set till yoou get hands on deadly/furious ones(updated signature, so you can see my rogue too now)

drop the points in improved poisons and improved kidney shot, and put 5 points in dual wield in the combat tree

points in sub... aka setup or iniative depends on your playstyle/comp... initiatve is more of an offensive talent while setup is defensive and requires dodge... people mainly just get iniative

in assas... focused attacks, i like it but a while back there was a post on arena junkies about they did a test and it wasn't a dps increase, so whatever floats your boat. i can't live without the extra energy XD

also ruthlessness, the rng of this talent makes most rogues skip it, 3 points is a waste if you're gonna go for it because 40% for me at least procs more then 50%+ of the time it seems.

deadened nerves... again depends on what comp you are playing you could take the points out of that and into imp kidney if you want to be more of an offensive player

also pls don't be bad and kidney shot people when you have no energy.... >.< pool your energy to at least 100 before you do so you can get some nice burst in
