From blizzcon, any word on profressions getting buffed?

The profession cap is going to 525. Only way of levelling them all up would be to get new herbs, ores etc I suppose. So yes.

Are they really going to raise the profession cap for a 5 lvl expansion as high as they would if it were a 10 lvl expansion?

they are also planning to implement that youre getting 5 skillups for something like making a rareitem or something similiar. and you may also get 5 skillups from certain gathernodes.
