Spriest, SP question

I'm slowly getting badges on my new priest, here is the current armory:

I was going to buy the t8.5 legs with badges, but then I decided on getting the neck/belt from the badge vendor instead for a better stat increase. After looking at them for awhile I vendored them back for my badges until I could get a clear cut answer.

So this is pretty much my question, should I buy back http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45831 and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45822 which along with things like int/spirit gives me about 50 or so sp increase, or should I buy the Crit/SP proc trinket instead if that will give me a better overall SP in the long run. I'm still using BoA trinkets, and Abyssal Rune just wont drop when i'm on the priest << I have the H ToC helm so there wasnt much of a difference spending 58 badges on the 8.5 helm so I opted out of that for now

gotta ask you, where/how do you buy T8.5 legs with badges? either i suppose you mean the T8.5 chest or the T7.5 legs, but i don't know.

ya chest sorry, the option is either a tier piece, 2 pieces of 226 gear, or a trinket

The chest is very good. the waist and neck really arent itemized that well. The t8 head is VERY well itemized but if you need a trinket, that might be the largest upgrade for you, but then again, trinkets are not as hard to get as t8.5 in comparison

get the t8 chest, keep running what you can and soon the other slots will fall into place

If you do get the chest you really should replace some of the +hit items you have as you'll be overcapped like hell. I suggest also getting the T8.5 helm as it is very well itemized. As for trinket, the Sundial for 40 Emblems is very good for an spriest.

This is correct, don't see why you gem for hit when you're already above the cap.

Trinket and Belt.

Then get Chest.
Then Helm.

still gemmed hit beause after I got those last upgrades from the Nax I went to I logged off and ran out of scarlet rubies so I need to farm some more and regem. The Helm will be my last thing to purchase because of the 219 helm I have. I stook a quick look at them and besides for a little more stam/int the only main difference I saw was they replaced the hit on the ToC helm with haste on the 8.5, also it would give me a 2 set bonus if I Bought the chest as well

T8.5 Chest is solid. T8.5 Helm is very solid as well. Most shadowpriests will be running 2pc T8 and 2pc T9 since the 4pc bonus is not very good on either set. So if you buy these pieces they will last you a while. With the 2pc bonus the T8.5 helm is a pretty significant increase over the Gaze. There are pieces that deliver hit more efficiently - belt, boots, back, wand

Your boots are good. I'd upgrade the belt to one of the crafted ones (sash of ancient power) especially with the price of runed orbs falling.

Would also run OS when you can. Not much of a problem to bring down drakes and cloak, braces and trinket would all be potential upgrades for you.

Sundial is a good solid trinket, one you should pick up.
