Destruction haste softcaps?

Anyone know the exact number of passive haste where chaos bolt / incinerate clips the gcd with bloodlust / backdraft in a fully buffed raid?

And if you're feeling very confident, how long a fight would have to be for haste to be superior to other stats, even if you clip 12 spells in a 10min fight (assuming 4 conflagrates in a bloodlust). Would obviously be a different number for each stat. Only spirit/crit is really interesting though.

This while using the stat scaling from the latest T8-BiS simcraft which put stats at

Chaos Bolt = 2.0s
Incinerate = 2.25s
GCD = 1.0s

1% Haste = 32.79 Haste Rating

Bloodlust = 30% Haste
Backdraft = 30% Haste

New Time = Old Time / (1 + Haste)

Haste = (Old Time / New Time) - 1


Chaos Bolt Haste = (2.0 / 1.0) - 1 = 100%
100% - 30% Bloodlust - 30% Backdraft = 40% Passive Haste
40 x 32.79 = 1311.6 Haste Rating


Incinerate Haste = (2.25 / 1.0) - 1 = 125%
125% - 60% = 65% Passive Haste
65 x 32.79 = 2131.35


Don't forget to back another 3% out for Swift Retribution (Ret Paladin, 98.37 Rating) and account for Haste trinkets.

One more thing to add: You will be clipping the GCD on Immolate, Curses, and Lifetap with this much haste. A better idea is to hit 1.0s on these spells:

Immolate/Lifetap = (1.5 / 1.0) -1 = 50% Haste

Assuming you never use Backdraft on Immolate during the haste period, that leaves you with a paltry 20% haste (655.8 Rating, or ~560 after Ret Paladin).

Wrath of air totem is 5% spell haste as well.

Wrath of Air doesn't stack with Swift Retribution. It's 5% or 3%, not both.
