    Patch 3.2.2 Pets and Onyxia Mount, MLG, Comics

    Patch 3.2.2 Companion Pets
    The latest PTR patch added a few companion pets to the game and it seems that I forgot to post screenshots for a few of them. Sadly, we don't have the drop locations for most of them and we'll have to discover that later on live servers.

    Update - Fixed a stupid error, let's pretend that we didn't see it.
    • Spectral Tiger Cub will be a reward of the upcoming Trading Card expansion "Scourgewar".
    • Onyxia Whelpling will be given away to anyone in game during the 5th anniversary of World of Warcraft.
    • Pandaren Monk drop location is unknown but we might have a hint before the end of the PTRs.
    • Lil' KT drop location is unknown.
    • Zipao Tiger drop location is unknown.
    • Wind Rider Cub drop location is unknown. (Please note that the model is not textured for the moment)
    • Gryphon Hatchling drop location is unknown.

    I'll count all the "Aaaawww .... Cute!" comments in this news at the end of the day.





    Patch 3.2.2 - Onyxia Flying Mount Video
    The Onyxian Drake is a 310% speed flying mount dropped by the revamped version of Onyxia in Patch 3.2.2.

    eMazing Gaming wins MLG Dallas 2009
    MLG Dallas ended last night and eMazing Gaming will go home with $9,000 US and 3 HP Firebird PC, x6tence and Complexity take respectively the 2nd and 3rd place. You can find all the info about the tournament on Gotfrag. (And before you yell at me in comments, yes, the stream coverage isn't perfect. "Working on it" is the best I can give you for the moment)

    1st Place: eMazing Gaming - $9,000 US, 3 HP Firebird PC
    2nd Place: x6tence - $4,500 US
    3rd Place: Complexity - $2,250 US
    4th Place: Fnatic

    edit: Gryphon Hatchling head seems a little big. And the Onyx Whelpling has too big eyes imo.
    But that's just my opinion.

    Also, congratulations to eMazing Gaming for their 1st place in the tournament.

    Hopefully at least one pet won't require the TCG or a world event to obtain... I don't feel like waiting.

    Also: Anyone else think the Onyxia Whelpling looks kinda... scrawny compared to the other ones currently obtainable?
