Faction Change Service Now Available

Sheesh I wish I could account transfer my alliance char to my horde account all in one.. Not to mention I'd have to pay a server transfer and a faction change as it is..

Idk, you never know what to expect from blizzard. I hope they do get transferred because I have a ton of heirlooms and it will take a long time just to get them back if i were to switch

I think so. The website covers what type of mount you would get if you were to switch. It has everything, BUT any mention on heirloom items.

True, but in the past you could keep the item without having to keep the quest, so the question still stands...

Goes and wipes all quest items as well.

maybe its because the char you transfer will have his heirloom items with him..

also, the heirlooms are the same, nomatter if you're horde or alliance. so theres no reason to even talk about em..?

Theres nothing such visible on EU atm, so maybe they are only trying out the US version for now?

It's more of a deterrent than a cashgrab.

If you put a non trivial price on it, fewer people will transfer toons for trivial reasons. I'm sure you love your level 23 Nelf warrior, but for $30 it'd be more prudent to just reroll than tie up Blizzard resources.

Was one of the ones looking forward to the faction change, then ofcourse you can put it in my face that I dont have money. Just know I wont pay that amount and then on top of that, a server change.

I would say if you look at it this way: The little guy who is playing on a dead alliance side, want to faction change it to horde. I would say 30$ would be kinda overkill.
