ignite Damage

Fully raid buffed, about how much damage should your ignite be doing?

On Anub'arak in 25 ToC (not quite fully raid buffed, didn't have a ele. shaman for the totem) My ignite did a little less than 20% of my total damage.

I thought that ignite should be more around 30% of your total damage, but after talking with the other mage in the group, he told me his ignite only did about 20% of his damage also.

is this correct, or am i just doing something horribly wrong?
