I use SoR a lot in pvp and on trash or on bosses where you cant get to 5 stacks long enough for it to be worth it to use seal of vengence.

This thread never mentioned if it was for PvP and PVE so I am going to try and cover both sides to the best of my knowledge because I am more of a PVE'er.

Well I really dont know what to tell you here because I dont PvP enough to tell you whether your Ret is good for the setup but to my knowledge I still think you need more hit even for PvP isnt it 5%?

As for Ret for PVE you would be missing alot obviously because you only have 1.18% hit which your required to be hit capped at 260 = 8% or you could run with 7% and have a drainei in your group. Now I have noticed and done some testing of my own and you can actually get away with running 7% even without a draenei in your group. I dont miss very much and i sit at 248 and I usually am not put in a group with a draenei.

As for expertise you have to get 15 more expertise to be capped.

Crit I wouldnt worry about too much because your going to be lifted about 6% or so when in raid from buffs and depending on what classes you got in there with you.

Also noticed why are you gemming accordingly to get every socket bonus? Only gem for what you need to get your Meta and pick the right certain pieces that have strength on it to gem correctly for and then other than that gem for strength.

Also invest 25 Triumphs for the SoV libram.

As for glyphs make your dual talent for a ret pve and a ret pvp because the way your glyphed is only gimping you.

So sorry to be so harsh on you bud but this is for the better if you get the gear to correct everything.

Theres a few poor choices on your part. Heres a fix list:

- Change your metagem. Getting the +agi one will result in more dps, because it allows you to use just a Nightmare tear to fullfill meta requirements, instead of 2 blue gems which sucks.
- Get +22 agi to cloak. It's better than +23 haste.
- You are over the hit cap yet ypu still enchant icewalker on boots? Get +34 Attack Power on those. First choice would obviously to get some better boots (Crafted with runed orbs) instead of the pvp ones.
- Sort your glyphs. You need consecration glyph instead of Exorcism, because with a 10s cooldown on it, it results in less GCD clashes which results in more GCDs used on other abilities which grants you more dps. Its also a great mana saver on top, which means you wont have to plea that often, which gives you even more free GCDs.

I have legplate's of the violet champion to replace my current one's with but trying to find some way to get a replacement 80 hit rating is hard . Also, the boot gem's are rare quality only because they are iLVL200. I made a rule that i would not put any epic gem's in anything that is under iLVL213.

Nice overall...probably 8.5. Couple of things...get rid of the pyrite infuser (way over hit cap) and buy a Darkmoon Card: Greatness. Maybe get another trinket to replace the Loatheb's Shadow. Also, run H ToC to get the boots...big upgrade over current.

I saw what you farmed tharr (ToC).. I'd try cutting back on the haste for sure, 0,10% off the hit cap, you have 12 Expertise just like me! Needs to go up though. (Yes I am aware it's the same for me ) - Nice gem choices, nice trinkets. You should get some profs though (BS or JC)! Nice spec, too.

Your worst, please. (Even though I've realised most flaws, like the 16 AP / 4 mp5 gem in the T7 shoulders, cba to replace it atm, its T7 LoLz!).. I just started raiding as Retri again. After picking up the T8.5 chest I was left with that much hit, it will become lower in due time.

I'm sorry, that was my bad. I actually have Libram of Valiance, only I got it yesterday, tanked a HC, swapped back to ret gear-set, and only today did I notice the libram. Hehe, I meant to make a note of it but it must have slipped my mind.

By all means, judge me seriously. I like to know where I can improve! Anyway the reason I wont replace that shoulder gem is because my guild is doing TotC25 and Uld25, so I'll have a replacement item soon enough. Also, I am still able to do very competative DPS (ended about 5-6th in TotC25 yesterday), so there's no dire need to replace my gem either.

Awesome gear, I can't see much wrong with it. I guess you personally prefer the 21CSR above 21 Agi, same goes for me. Hit capped for PvP, nice resilience and hp, obviously working your way to some Relentless gear looking at ratings, good pvp spec as I guess you use Seal of Righteousness..

I think you should read up on your gemming / enchanting a little bit.
You'll notice that gemming / enchanting for anything but isn't optimal.

Since the latest patch using the +21 agi 3% crit dmg meta is better than
+21 crit 3% crit dmg because of the 20 str gems. Use that meta, 1 nightmare
tear for the meta requirement then gem everything else for 20 str. I would
put the nightmare tear in your t9 gloves so you can get the 4 str socket
bonus from those. You'll only lose 2 str on that item with the change and
then get to use straight str gems everywhere else. Including changing the
ap / mp5 gem in your shoulders (huh?). You'll gain 48 str just from putting
epic gems and changing your gems around. Also, you're above hit cap, you
can use the 32 ap enchant to boots instead of Icewalker.

I'll modify this post when I'm not in my craptastic Holy gear.

Glyphs and talents are pretty good.

Overall I'd give you like a 6/10.

im not gonna rate it just tell you what i think is wrong.
i dont like the way you have your gems. for me, i prefer using 1 meta, 1 +10 all stats gem(in legs for +6str), and everything else +20str.
and ur spec is bad. dont use SoCommand, it is terrible right now. 7/13/51 is the good spec atm. also, i would pick up Glyph of Salvation. it can really help.

eh...it's ok. I don't have gears like you. I need resil and stam. Without stam gems, i probably wouldnt make it 22k health. On top of that, divine guardian helps absorbing damages, saves my ass sometimes. But I'm gonna take on your advice on salvation glyph.

One thing I've been trying to do is get rid of expertise gear and replace is with more arp/crit/any other dps stat and just use SoV glyph to make up for the lost expertise. Otherwise, good everything else
