Gem/skill question.

Ok I have a minor question that can be answered pretty easily I think. Im a bit confused on how important hit cap is. Should i gem to get hit capped? Or is stacking say crit just as important? My hit was 11.49% but i gemed and got it real close to the cap at the expense of like 3 yellow slots. I am speced for suppression btw. So should I just count on Boomkin/Spriest to get capped and get some crit gems? You can armory me and see what im doing wrong. The help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Being hit capped is the most important thing and with impact your damage the most among all stats (even spell power).

If you regularly raid with boomkin / spriest, then only having 390 hit so that you dont waste gem slots getting hit when you don't need to.

There's nothing necessarily wrong with using gem slots for hit.
