Not really....

The game wasn't designed to require addons, boss' and mobs arn't designed that way either.....
The fact that the addons are there which do things blizzard in some cases had never even thought of, doesn't mean they are a requirement, or you can't do without them.


It's like wearing a seatbelt.... You should and in-fact are lawfully required (in most countries at least) too (equivilent to your guild requiring you to use an addon) but it doesn't stop people not doing it, and 90% or more of the time, nothing 'bad' will happen becuse of it.

Blizzard specifically told that high-end raiding DO require addons. Suchs as boss mods. Sure some can cope without them but there are risks

But if i need to pick from DBM and BigWigs, i prefer BigWigs much more.
