Favorite Priest Race (not racial-wise but look-wise and lore-wise)

For a Shadow Priest, Darkspears tapping into a little bit of their voodoo, or Forsaken for their direct connection.
For Holy, lorewise I'd probably throw my weight behind Humans, and Draenei. While Draenei found the Naaru, Humans discovered the light without them altogether, and held that connection.
Discipline Priests, to me, would use the Light, but more focus on their own personal strengths as well. This would fit with both Sin'dorei and the Dwarves.

Lookwise, Human female or Blood Elf female.

Very true, but for shadow your forgetting Night Elves and the Light of Elune

I don't really get the feel for Night Elves as priests/priestesses. Sure, you've got the Priestess of Elune, like Tyrande. But how does that really draw from the Light? Or have any direct correlation to the Shadow? Devotion to a God/Goddess is unbecoming of the faith of the Light. I dunno, I just feel more drawn to their druidic paths than I believe their "qualifications" of a Priest.

But hey, that's just me.

However, I could be called biased, because I see no problems with Tauren getting Priests (and sticking them beside the Humans and Draenei under "Holy"... but Paladins is a bit of a stretch imo), but only because they are seeking balance, from both the moon and the sun. One cannot pay tribute to one without acknowledging the other exists.

I am heavily against Goblin and Gnome priests, and while the Worgen may have once been human, their connection has been severed with their curse and should be left at that.

You'll see that the powers of Elune was never connected to the arcane of the Well of Eternity.
So the purity in the Night Elf healing was always drawing from another source, most likely the same as "the light". One could easily see Naaru as godlike figures.

And then there is of course, the topic of Cenarius. I'll leave the studies to you
