Would any of you be willing to stack armor pen and test your dps?

If so give me some numbers. Its just odd how armor pen seems so important(not for us but overall) and is on 1 of our tier gear.

Not a ret, but seeing as a lot of your damage comes from holy and is based on weapon damage, wouldn't stacking Str (+10% from spec) be a more mathematically sound approach?

Armor pen only affects 40% of our attacks directly.
This means it is only slightly better than haste, which is only good for laying stacks of vengeance faster and white/seal damage
I believe it goes like this for your gospel of how to pally.
STR>Hit(up to 263)>Crit>Agi>Arp>Haste
This doesn't mean armor penetration doesn't increase your dps, cause it does... just not as well as say... strength or crit

It does still effect damage- but we know how Blizzard has itemized in the past.

Remember T6 with Spell power?

S2 gear with 0 Resilience?
