    Holy Pally ToC25 heroic question

So my guild is working on progressing thru ToC25 heroic. We just recruited another holy paladin, which makes 2 of us in each raid. Ive been trying to figure out the best way to spread out our beacons and sacred shields per fight without overlapping our sacred shields and getting the full use out of our beacons.

I havent played with another holy paladin in a very long time so Ive been confusing myself a bit. Im just curious as to what other people are doing or what someone thinks would be the best way to handle this.

if the boss requires 2 tanks, you beacon the other pally's heal target, have him beacon yours. if 1 tank, both beacon him and raid heal. also rotate flashes to keep the sacred shield hot up on both. this is not the only way to do it though. whatever works for you

beast 1 - you beacon tank 2 and heal tank 1, second pally beacon tank 3 and heal tank 2
    inb4 lawl 3 tanks

beast 2 - you beacon tank 1, heal tank 2, he beacon tank 2, heal tank 1
beast 3 - you beacon tank, heal w/e is low, have him just heal the tank and beacon a healer or somethin

just split it like that throughout the other bosses

we 2 tank heroic beasts... so it's a little different then most. we have a rotation of hop clears, hos/bubbles, and pain surpresion along with cd's from tanks, leaves more dps.

our raid leader must have been up 3hrs working on spreadsheet of when to do what on who though, but it works really good.

Beacons whereever you want, sacred shields anf ol hots on every tanks if possible. Thats it.

Beacons do stack. So there is no problem in using the same target. Sacred Shields can be a problem, since prot paladin's like to use theirs too.

    True!

Beacon on tank, ss on OT and heal ss target. You should take advantage of ss procs at all time. Crit FoL is a plus and it is transferred to BoL target. Remember something, BoL change allows us to heal 2 persons simultaneously but never it makes us a good raid healer.

    Here's an example:

    Northrend Beasts

Phase 1: you use 3 tanks for the encounter (in rotation). All paladins should use beacon on the current tank that is tanking Gormok and heal raid. Everytime your raid switch tank, all paladins should change beacon target accordingly. SS...in my raid we usually set ss in advance. For instance, paladin 1 is casting ss on tank 1, paladin 2 is casting ss on tank 2. If tank 1 is tanking, paladin 1 casts ss and if tank 2 is tanking, paladin 2 uses ss on him.
Mana issue: there shouldn't be any mana issue...if there is....cross your finger and pray!

Phase 2: you need 2 MT. Paladin 1 beacon tank 1 and ss tank 2 and heal exclusively tank 2. Paladin 2 beacon tank 2 and ss tank 1 and heal exclusively tank 1. Exclusively means you don't heal directly the beacon target but you can heal raid, here and there if you can.

Phase 3: only one tank is needed. All beacons on tank and heal the raid.

Note 1: don't use DP during phase 1. Use DP during phase's transitions. Use DP when Acidmaw and Dreadscale move. Use DP when Icehowl jumps to the middle and just before he knocks everyone back.

    Jaraxxus:

Paladin 1 beacon MT and ss OT (adds tank) and heal OT
Paladin 2 beacon OT and ss MT and heal MT

    Faction Champions:

Beacon clothy (specially priest healer) ss clothy dps (mage or warlock) and heal raid. free for all.

    Twins Val'kyr:

1 paladin on each side: For example: Paladin 1 and tank 1 are on left side. Paladin 2 and tank 2 are on the right side. Paladin 1 beacon tank 1 and ss tank 2 and heal tank 2. Paladin 2 beacon tank 2 ss tank 1 and heal tank1. You should be close enough to heal the opposite side. If not, the raid is splitted too far than needed.

    Anub:

3 tanks: 1 MT and 2 OT (adds). Paladin 1 beacon MT and ss OT 1 and heal OT 1. Paladin 2 beacon MT and ss OT 2 and heal OT 2. For this encounter, at most 5 healers.

Note1: In my guild, we only have 2 holy paladins per raid. Having 2 is the best IMO because we can only heal 2 persons at the same time. Having more than 2...it's a lot of work to assign beacons and ss. Again, healing ss target is more efficient and effective than some1 with no ss on.
