What also works very well is teaming up with an Enchanter.

My inscriptor provides the Weapon Vellum II (for mongoose) and Armor Vellum III (for powerful stats) and my friends' enchanter puts on the enhancement and sells them off. Split profits and money rolls in, you might want to take some time now and then to go do some BC instances for enchanting materials.

The easiest way to level Inscription is to buy the first tier of low level herbs (because stuff like Peacebloom or Silverleaf is usually really cheap) and then buy Adder's Tongue, Lichbloom, Icethorn.
you'll need someone to mill the herbs and create the ink then though

Anyways, now that Boub has posted these guides, it does make it more profitable to farm stuff, at least.
what you fine fun/ not fun =/= what other people find fun/not fun, get over it.

also boub, waiting for you to respond to my first post i this thread.

i mean today alone, i made another 3k gold with darkmoon cards / decks.

it's also really fun imo to make decks and trade cards.

No, people with alot of mony just can buy wathever they want and prob spend less time playing WoW because they don't need to grind all evening to gather gold for a raid.

On topic...though im not fond of posting a guide on he frontpage of such active forum, but well Boub must have his reasons as he had best intensions for members/players so far. Nice work by the way.

Do we get to find out about the instant re-spawning mob's that we can farm for cooking stuff to sell to people need for leveling it tomorrow?

You don't know what ruined economy truly is. The monopolized auction is closer to "ruined" than anything else.

And thanks to Boubouille for mentioning QA2, it's really nice.

I'm a herb farmer and typically concentrate on raw materials for my wealth generation. This article seems to have been the genesis for a spike in plants and inks, both of which I sell. I sold my entire inventory (~220 stacks) of ink last night at 30-40% over normal value... my plant bank is almost empty and would have been if I didn't have to work this morning. The prices for raw materials skyrocketed. Goldclover, for example, which typically sells for 25-28g per stack was bid up to 40-45g per stack.

After seeing this article, I browsed the AH for glyphs... sure enough. It was crammed full of low-sell-rate product at 3-4g each. Stacks and stacks of Glyph of Backstab all separated by 1c. You could refresh every couple of seconds to watch the price drop as people became more adept at using Quick Auctions.

    Funny stuff to watch.

You mean the Crawler Meat, Crawler Claw, and Clam Meat that drop from the instantly respawning crabs on the northern beach of Westfall?

Well so the first guide is not workable on my server. Cobalt is 27g a stack. So, I mined my own cobalt and turned it into shields, and then I realized that I should turn it into horned cobalt helms and send to my enchanter. That and notched cobalt axes. That's really been a better money maker. As it stands saronite and gems go to the jc and two transmute spec alchemists handle the resulting rare gems.

My only hope is that this inscription guide will inflate herb prices on my server. When inscription first came out I made thousands off of mageroyal and goldthorn, but I haven't even herbed in months due to the bottom falling out of the herb market on my server.

The way I see it is this: using these methods takes a lot of time and resources. My gut feeling is that although the market may be *slightly* shafted right now, the people who've just gone "OOOH SHINY GOLDZ QUICK QUICK CHOP CHOP NAO!" won't have the patience or staying power for the long term, and will drop off in a few weeks. Not being economically minded myself nor having the patience, I'm going to sit and watch other people taking the ride.
I first thought these guides would ruin things, but after reading them and then looking into it I found the guides are totally off and would not even work on my server.

Grats to a waste of time, but I'm happy.

May wanna tell what server you're on so people know to come on over and ruin your economy.

I'm selling glyphs on my realm since the release of wotlk and it is quite true everything you say, but one fact isn't: 2 snowfall ink out of 1 stack of herbs? Are you kidding? This is nearly a best-case-situation, not an average. The average is more like 1 ink from a stack...

Re: Auction House Guide - Inscription

Man.... you gotta be nuts to want to do this lol. Unless you're selling gold I guess.

Re: Auction House Guide - Inscription

This guide wont change anything, 99% of the wow players do not have the gold or willing to put the effort needed to make gold from inscription, only thing that might happen is people that trying to follow this strat will go bankrupt.

The enchanting guide last day changed nothing either on my server and making gold from that is 100x time easier than inscription.

Re: Auction House Guide - Inscription

The inscription guide said to buy northrend herbs and then trade down the ink to level. I bought a TON of northrend herbs, but it says skill level not high enough to mill them. Am I being super noob and missing something or did I just get screwed?

Also, I thought the first guide was really good but am I the only person that thought the inscription guide (other than my above issue) was horrible? How to make gold with inscription - make glyphs and sell them. Awesome guide!

Yeah the guide's wrong, you still need to get lower herbs to skill up on (or an inscription friend to turn your northrend herbs into inks I guess, but seeing crafting the lower lvl inks gives a few skill points anyway I'd just make the lower lvl inks).
