Hunters have MD, warriors have 4% more physical damage, ret pallys provide the crit, and numerous classes have an interrupt off the GCD. Judge of light and lotp stack. And lotp returns mana too. Dont take 8 healers to every raid and maybe some of them will start to go oom.

Bottom line is, battleres is the only genuine thing.

And we've done 3/5 in ToC 25 heroic with 5 healers without anyone going oom.

Or try hard modes and the healers will also go OOM. You prolly haven't even attempted hard modes though.

As for the other buffs, like the guy above me pointed out there are at least 1-3 other classes that provide each of the same buff and they don't stack. Innervates and brezzes you can always use more of though. So you can back up heal or tank, and supply better buffs, but you wanna have the best AoE too? OVer a pure DPS that can ONLY DPS? GG you greedy Feral fucks.

Check the grand crusader 25 achievement if you'd like. All done with 5 healers, none ever asking for innervate cause of mana issues.

And swipe is NOT the best aoe in raids, might be in heroic cause of mobs got low hp so you can just swipe two times, pop tigers fury and swipe more until they're dead. Good thing the game aint balanced around heroics though.

I can't even be arsed to read comments to check if this has already been said or not, but...
Swipe doesn't do close to as much damage as FoK, at least I don't do as much damage with Swipe as the combat Rogue with FoK in my guild...
When we pop cooldowns on very big groups (Berserk / Adrenaline Rush), I end up with maybe 17-20k dps, and he has around 27-30k dps. That being a pretty big group, yes, like spider quarter in Naxxramas with the little spiders group.

Get your facts right before QQ'ing about a spell that's even worse.

and here I always thought that PVE was all about teamplay, to work together as a team with 5, 10 or 25 member to accomplish a kill on a certain boss.
But in the end it's all about which class that does the highest damage, cause they are without a doubt the best players, not the ones contributing to the raid in otherways, such as a Hunter "wasting" a GCD to MD the tank during midfight if that would be needed.

It's not news but I can't believe how different classes can just constantly cry about other classes beeing superior to themself in certain areas of pve.
It's one thing if a class is majorly overpowered in pvp, but in pve for god sake, BE HAPPY, he's on your side!

Shouldn't we start QQ'ing about Casters beeing the only one who get a damage multiplying buff at General Vezax aswell?, isn't that amazingly unfair that casters can do more damage then melee?

As someone stated in a post several pages back, just go back to where mages were the only class who could do decent aoe, or why not back to when warlocks provided more or less nothing then different statsmodifying curses (Curse of Weakness etc.)

Or when druids were nothing except healers, or when rogues had no aoe, no buff to give anyone... or better yet... just skip every freaking class.. pump in every skill currently available in to one new hero class and the freaking problem is solved.

Rogues are putting out nasty dps right now, druids are not. Plain and simple. You can't just do a nerf based on one move, you have to consider how the class is doing overall.

My 34k hp in bearform raid buffed can actually tank anything in toc 25 heroic.. Not to mention that I'm lacking 6% dodge and 12% less damage taken from talents.
My 700 ticking hots and 7kish mana can actually heal every encounter in toc 25 heroic..

And if your character name is Deathleech, I think you should start farm some heroics and get better gear. (Checked US and EU armory)

Wrong. I am asking why one ability got it's dmg nerfed when an almost identical ability didn't get touched. Sure it's directional but is it really THAT hard to face a group of mobs? And even without poisons Swipe is still a shit ton of dmg. Sorry, I guess I don't see how a HYBRID spamming one button and getting thousands upon thousands of DPS is ok when a pure DPS class had a similar ability nerfed pretty heavily. Lol...

Swipe already got nerfed a patch or two ago.

Also, fok is still superior to it in many ways (including dps it can produce). For one, swipe still requires a target in melee range, which kinda sucks at fights like Anub 25 HC, since you really can't hit all the adds after the main tank has kited Anub away before it burrows.

Rogues are still awesome dps, and fok is still great even after the (much needed) nerfs. Rogues are topping the charts in my guild, and in any high-end raid guild. If that's not the case with you, it's a gear/l2p issue. Based on your pitiful whines, I'd have to guess it's the latter.

You can pop out of cat and throw a HoT here and there, or go bear/pop CDs and tank for several seconds. Sometimes it makes the difference between a wipe at 3% and getting a boss down. Can a rogue do either? Nope, but they CAN pop Evasion and PRAY they have agro/dodge every attack, or maybe start bandaging everyone. That's jsut as good right!

Also no, I have no characters named Deathleech in WoW. Good job assuming though. Guess I shoulda posted this thread in general or something instead of the druid section where you got a bunch of bads not wanting an OP ability nerfed.

You are. You cant compare modifiers directly because, *ding* it's another class and works differently. Hint - 2 weapons versus 1 weapon.

Fool. "Popping" and throwing hots with zero spell power would be just as good as rogue running around and bandaging people(of course doing no damage in both cases). And "bear" is gonna die in a mater of couple swings or get 1-shotted even, because DPS spec takes roughly 30% more damage, up to 40% more in DPS gear, and because the healers are not ready to heal him hard and the bosses that really matter do hit that hard. Hell our rogues live far far longer with evasion than our cat going bear if, say, the tank goes down on anub or vezax, not to mention algalon. Should i also mention that not all the DPS specs include the heath CD? Do us a favor.. ..crawl back into your stinkhole kkthxbye.

You just showed your ignorance with these comments, feral specced/geared HoTs are worth NOTHING in raids. You clearly have no idea how badly they suck. And rogue cooldowns are a lot more effective in saving your butt when something goes wrong when compared to a non-tank specced/geared druid going into bear form.

(and FoK spam is still superior to swipe, even after the nerfs btw)

If you want to compare Swipe and FoK, use an example where it really matters. Anub 25 HC is the most obvious case, and there post-nerf FoK spam rogues, along with DKs, warriors and mages are better. No one gives a damn what numbers someone can pull at Thorim arena, Naxx trash, or heroics.. and even in all those rogue should beat equally geared cat.
