Patch 3.3 Now live on PTRs

I don't know if anybody else has noticed this, but these quests are a joke. They require you to kill
the first or second boss of a raid, are they really wanting you to get these emblems in a hurry?
A weekly raid quest should require you to kill the (semi)last boss of a raid, so you've to do the whole raid for it!
Now you'll get groups that are only going into Naxxramas to kill just Patchwerk or Anub'Rekhan and voila, 10 Icecrown emblems!

The thing is you'll be getting less emblems of frost through repeatable quests than you can currently get emblems of triumph via repeatable quests (10 vs 14).

So actually, they're nerfing the rate at which you get badges just making it easier to max out for the week.

Still doesn't exclude the point of getting the t10 badges for not running the t10 raid but killing a t7 opening boss.

It didn't actually track anything as of yet, though I suppose they will update it or something in a later build.

On a pretty big side note, the weekly daily is pretty crap in the respect people will end up having to pug the raid in order to keep up with the other people in the guild, the current daily heroic is nice because everyone can do it but I still dislike you get t9 badges, and the same with t10 badges. Force people to raid IC for the stuff blizz!

Yeah. I assume that is still a work in progress, since it's an awful ugly design.

it's my understanding a lot of costs are removed from the ptr for it to be tested easily. like the tier tokens, new vendor items, etc.

The 'alt art' for shadowmourne is missing the skull on it and doesn't have all the cool glowy stuff.

I'm thinking shadowmourne is going to be hand of rag v2, where you have to build the main weapon via blacksmithing using a redonkulous amount of mats, and then Arthas will drop some sort of item (likely a piece of frostmourne, the skull on the hilt), which you can use on the axe to make it the legendary.

I wouldn't mind this setup, it means I might actually have a chance at the weapon then as opposed to farming 30 shadowmourne fragments...

i actually like the new look of the quest map thing. im not sure about putting the quest text dialog in there as well, seems overkill. i'd imagine there will be some kind of show this or that options. or a collapse button of sorts.

servers are straight-up down right now thank god, i'd actually wish they'd shut off the ptr for one for day to touch up everything with the servers, add maybe another pve one, and reset template transfers, so maybe it could get a little more stubility before the 4000 kiddies who don't have lv80s can make 4 of em and wipe on content not released yet and fly around Outland

Anything about rated BG's? I thought I read they were implementing that in 3.3. maybe they just havn't added it to the PTR yet /shrug? Also the pet AOE from other players is a major nerf for Hunters/Warlocks. Going to be great watching my pet die instantly from some bladestorm.
