Orc,troll totem=WIN, what about taurens?

The origional totem model should have been Tauren only anyway. That American Indian style carved totem is heavily represented in Tauren culture and design. It is their totem, and now they dont have to share their culture with others, it is theirs alone.

Chin up though, you still retain memories of the past and honor the origional shamanistic path shown as we have known it. Thats gotta count for something.

Everyone loves those totems and you still have 'em.

I did not mean any offence if anyone took any. I have a great deal of respect for their culture, and have researched a fair amount of it to aid in the roleplaying of my character in WoW. I just suck at trying to remember all the PC terms for folk :-[

Native American, depending on who you're speaking with, can be seen as equally or more offensive than American Indian. Its better to refer to a specific group.

Depends on which tribe you're talking to. A number NE tribes prefer the name "Indian" as they believe it derives from the word "indeos" or "one with God".

But yeah, the tauren totem could do with a bit of an update. To me they kind of look like the two parts (the stump and the horns) aren't actually part of the same whole they just occupy the same space, like when a player stands slightly inside another player. It would be nice for them to get an update for that, and I wouldn't say no to an update to the original skin.

Then again I don't play tauren shaman so I can't really complain I suppose, lol.
