More than likely because it is in the patchnotes and didn't need screenshots of starting gear to confirm.

The new weapons bit may have been in the Patch notes, but did anyone else notice the class descriptions were different in those pictures?

Interesting. I wonder how many people would have made much different choices if accurate descriptions had been on the character creation screen from the beginning.

I would have preferred if they updated the old class descriptions instead of scrapping them and making new ones, particularly with priests. Seriously, read the old priest description again, it's epic. The new one, while I guess it does explain game mechanics more thoroughly, sounds way less cool.
